SJR-PHOTOGRAPHY

Happy Holidays everyone!

SJR-Photography is still moving forward at a steady pace. I have now moved back into Nottingham city centre and have almost sorted the new apartment. Bethany (my daughter) has returned from New Zealand after moving there with her mum to live almost 2 years ago. she has been studying photography at school out there which is fantastic. I am sure she has a better eye for it than i have!

Along with the usual suspects in the photography exhibition group I belong too, I am assisting in sorting out the venue/details for our next exhibition in 2011. I am also in the process of trying to organise a solo exhibition in a local gallery/venue. More news on this will follow on these when I have some. 

I had a huge setback in November when two of my external hard-drives mysteriously wiped themselves clean of every image and detail on them. (one of these was my back-up drive) A total of nearly 300gb worth of data which was just about every image I had prepared for my website/exhibitions and my online store. I am in the process of making arrangements to attempt to retrieve the data on these drives, professionally I might add! Due to this unfortunate situation, I have been unable to upload as many images as I had planned but, I have added some of my latest work from the Splendour festival, Athlete and Noisettes, and some Nottingham landmarks to the galleries.  

I have invested in some portable studio lighting so I am looking forward to putting them to the test. If you fancy being a test model for the day and receive some professional portrait images in return then please get in contact with me.
